ABOVE GROUND - AM HARTE

The first glimpse of sun may be her last.

When Lilith Gray goes above ground for the first time, she hardly expects to stay there — much less be trapped on the surface with no way home.

Hunted by trackers and threatened by the infected, Lilith is on the run, desperate to return underground. Her only hope for survival lies with a taciturn werewolf with a dark agenda of his own.

Lilith’s old carefree life has been reduced to one choice:

Adapt. Or die trying.

Set in a dystopian future where humans live underground and the infected live on the surface, Above Ground by AM Harte follows the adventures of Lilith Gray, a human girl who ends up trapped on the surface with no way back home.

Today's the day I play host to the Above Ground book tour, and just for something a little bit different we decided on a crossword puzzle.

Above Ground ran as a very popular web serial for a long time, and many of the original fans will be able to whip through the answers like a werewolf through a forest. New readers will have to try their luck and pit their wits against the clues - or read the book and fill in the blanks. [Go ahead and print the image; it's easier that way :p]

The fun starts here:

**Don't forget to come back here on November 19th for the solution**

ALSO - Throughout the blog tour AM Harte will be running a MYSTERY RAFFLE with eleven prizes up for grabs -- one for each letter of "Above Ground". What the prizes are will remain a secret until the end, although you're welcome to guess! ;-)

Follow along with the tour from November 1st to 30th for chances to win these secret prizes... and also to have a look at all the awesome guest posts, interviews, videos, etc etc etc.

All tour stops will be listed on http://amharte.com/aboveground

Author Bio
A.M. Harte writes twisted speculative fiction, such as the post-apocalyptic Above Ground and the zombie love anthology Hungry For You. 1. You're welcome. With 20hrs 30 mins left to run on the widget are you doing a last minute point collection?

Good luck. We can only hope she is not offering signed socks and underpants among the mystery prizes! :)

      Regards,
      Ellie.

    2. Yes - I procrastinate more than Anna, so I've been delayed in reading through the blog tour. Since there isn't an "s" in Above Ground, we should be safe against socks, but underpants might be a possibility!

Hey Ellie, since I'm in Perth, WA, maybe I'm only a few thousand Km away from your island? Do you see much of a change in the seasons?

    3. Anklettes, or ankle-socks?

YES! And you guys have got it worse. Mum flew over Perth a few weeks ago, right into a midday storm. Then down Margaret River and nearly froze.

Now I see on the news that storm in Perth on, what day was it Thurs or Friday. People blowing away in the street.

We just had our first hot days of the year and it is December! I used to say it was the same when Banjo Patterson said, 'The creeks run dry or ten feet high and there's either drought or plenty.' But unreliable rain aside, Australia's weather has gone bananas.
